Events in which the winery participates
The Robert Payr wine estate cultivates 12 ha of vineyards in Carnuntrum. With its stony chalk and loess and a microclima influence by the Danube and the Hungarian plains, this area offers the ideal conditions for growing wine.
Annual production amounts to 500 hl, of which 25% consists of white wines (Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay) and 75% of red wines (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Merlot und Cabernet Sauvignon).
Natural cultivation of the vineyards and the estate´s winemaking expertis in combination with wealth of experience are the foundation for the high quality of wines, as are the carefull processing methods and temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks.
