Thirty years ago the Pitnauer Family began a quality revolution at their winery in the (then) little-known Carnuntum wine region. Today Carnuntum is one of Austrias leading red wine appellations and the wine estate is still one of the most important estates in the region. Countless awards, including a Salon winner (first place in the premier national competition) and the prize for the states best varietal representative three years in a row, testify to the estates rapid development over the last three decades.
Edith Pitnauer takes loving care of the 22 hectares of vineyards. Hans works wonders in the winery, vinifying the estates famous Appellation Wines. Son Johannes recently joined the family business and shares his parents love for authentic wines of highest quality.
