Franz-Josef Gritsch embodies the already 7th generation of the family, which operates viticulture in the historic Mauritiushof in the Wachau. But top quality can only be achieved through continuous development. This is what the Kalmuck cellar stands for, where the wine is pressed using state-of-the-art technology. In addition, the wine experience world has now been added as an impressive innovation: an inviting tasting and sales room, a top-equipped event area with show kitchen and three stylish apartments have been created in and around the historical Mauritiushof. With Singerriedel, 1000-Eimerberg or Loibenberg, the family cultivates vineyards in the best locations, also countless stone terraces have been recultivated in recent years, such as the Ried Kalkofen.
