Events in which the winery participates
Mother Maria and daughter Anna are passionate winemakers. All their grapes are hand-picked. The closeness to nature is particularly important to them. They are organic farmers. The results are elegant compositions that carry the entire essence of the Weinviertel. This is best illustrated by the two flagship products of the winemakers, the Cuvees Köchl Verzeichnis 507 and Köchl Verzeichnis 508, named after Mozart.
Maria founded the winery a good 20 years ago as a career changer. After internships in Germany and New Zealand, however, daughter Anna now rules the wine cellar. The studied oenologist was named Austria's young winemaker of the year by Selection magazine. Together the two live a success story in the tranquil village of Eibesthal that is far from over.
