The boutique winery is situated on Eichberg - one of the regions of South Styria – and includes actually 8 ha.
Responsible for the wines is Daniel Jaunegg, he is working in the second generation of this family business. Our vinyards are 550m above sea level and are characterized by the cool climate in the nights and the sunny and mediterrean temperature by the day. The soil is based on gravel and sand.
Because of this terroir, we have light and elegant wines with much acidity. Our best grapes grow on the single vinyards „Knily“ and „Muri“.
Since 2016 we’re working close to nature. 2022 was our first bio-certified harvest. Our philosophy is to show the potencial of our region. We are working with low intervention, spontaneous fermentation, no fining, no filteration and low sulfits.
