Under their motto "small but delicious" Maria and Rudolf Dorner are leading a small winery (2 ha) in the heart of the "Blaufränkischland". Since a few years they are supported by their daughter - who is a microbiologist and a doctor in biotechnology - and their son - a graduate of the "Wein- und Obstbauschule Klosterneuburg" - in the preparation and technology of wine making. The foundation for their excellent wines are the highclass locations of their vineyard sites, for example "Goldberg" and "Mitterberg". Especially the history of the "Hermannshof" is interesting, because it lies in the direct neighbourhood of the ancient volcano "Harkauer Kogel".
