Information on location and soil

Different microclimates, slope formations and soils as well as protecting meadow edges are the key elements of the multifaceted vineyard site Steinbach. Sand, pebble and gravel conglomerate soils alternate, featuring small portions of loam and lime.

Information on maturation

The grapes were handpicked in the last week of October. After a skin-contact maceration of 18 hours the grapes were pressed. The spontaneous fermentation took place in big wooden barrels and the wine ages on the fine yeast for 6 months.

Food recommendation

With his fruity aromas and juicy structure this Sauvignon Blanc goes well with fish, seafood, vegetables, rice dishes and white meats.
