All eyes are on Vienna! The VieVinum trade fair has grown to become the most important platform for Austrian wine. Based at the magnificent Imperial Palace in Vienna, over 400 winemakers from all of Austria’s winegrowing regions come together in this cosmopolitan yet informal setting for the opportunity to network with trade partners, restaurateurs and wine experts. This experience is accompanied by specialist talks and numerous supporting events hosted by individual winemakers and winegrowing regions.

A visit to the VieVinum fair provides greater in-depth knowledge about Austria’s winegrowing regions, grape varieties and the philosophies of the country’s winemakers. To this end, the fair puts on a varied programme of supporting events and activities, including top-class tastings and side events with various winegrowing groups and brand communities.

Austrian Wine Lounge

Reserved for Austrian Wine guests.
The Austrian Wine team look forward to welcoming guests to the Austrian Wine Lounge for individual appointments. The team on the service desk are also available to look after any queries or concerns that visitors may have. The Austrian Wine Lounge features a working area with WiFi, PCs and printers, as well as the cosy seating area and book corner for taking some time out. What’s more, guests are also able to choose their own personal Austrian Wine T-shirt to take home as a souvenir.

Austrian Wine Restaurant

At lunchtimes, Austrian Wine guests are invited to stop by the exclusive Austrian Wine Restaurant to pick up a specially prepared packed lunch – typical Austrian delicacies included!

Flight Tastings: Grüner Veltliner & Riesling

Venue: Palais Niederösterreich, Herrengasse 13, 1010 Vienna
Reserved for Austrian Wine guests. Registration required.
This wine tasting event on the day before the VieVinum fair is now a firmly established tradition. Here, more than 100 wines from the current Grüner Veltliner and Riesling vintages are served to guests in flights of six. Guests are able to choose the order of wines and how quickly they wish to taste them!
