Austrian Wine in cooperation with the Advantage Austria New York traveled to the big apple - New York City - and invited trade visitors from the trade, gastronomy and press to the first flight tasting in the US. While observing all safety precautions, trade visitors had the unique opportunity to taste over 150 Austrian wines at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
The highlight: guests could get in touch with the 70 winemakers live via the online tool Brella - by chat or video phone call. In addition, further information on each winery and its wines was available via the tool.
The seated tasting offered guests a perfect atmosphere to taste the wines at his or her own pace and in a concentrated and leisurely manner.
Guests could choose between two timeslots
- Session 1: 9 am - 1 pm
- Session 2: 2 pm - 6 pm
