Austrian Wine organises a wide array of presentations and fairs in Austria and on the global stage.
The year of Austrian wine is characterised by many national and international activities that are offered and organised by Austrian Wine with regional partners. The focus is on major projects such as VieVinum as well as on participating in international wine fairs such as ProWein and Vinexpo, which are implemented in cooperation with partner organisations.

The Austria Wine “Sommelier Competition” entered the next round. In spring 2023, we travelled to Hoboken (New Jersey) & Raleigh (North Carolina). During a scavenger hunt, we determined one winner per city, who won a trip to Austria. The competition was open to all sommeliers and wine professionals.
