The Austrian Wine Marketing Board (Austrian Wine) organises a wide array of presentations and fairs in Austria and on the global stage.
The year of Austrian wine is characterised by many national and international activities that are offered and organised by Austrian Wine with regional partners. The focus is on major projects such as VieVinum as well as on participating in international wine fairs such as ProWein and Vinexpo, which are implemented in cooperation with partner organisations.
Austrian Wine Events 2022
Classic “Austrian Tastings” and commented tastings for sommeliers, retailers and journalists, that take up current topics of the Austrian wine world, are held in the most important export markets. Presence is also shown in distant markets such as North America and Asia.

Between mid-October and mid-November, three masterclasses took place in the German cities of Cologne, Leipzig and Munich. In Cologne and Leipzig, Sebastian Russold and Sebastian Bordthäuser presented Austrian wines. In Munich, the masterclass were held by Stefan Grabler and Markus Hirschler.
